During the lockdown earlier this year I decided to work on a little augmented reality project.
I've been learning bits of 3D for a few years now as I see AR and VR really breaking into the mainstream over the next decade, regardless of industry.
I decided to pick something practical to focus on - fixing a bike puncture. It came to mind when a relative of mine mentioned that he was having trouble fixing a puncture when his local bike shop was closed down so thought it would be a good place to start.
The video below shows (at a high level) how using an augmented reality headset could help the user complete a DIY task faster than without.
