A few months ago, Dublin City Council Beta asked the general public if there was any way they could get the public more engaged and interested in their projects.

Public participation in urban planning can be challenging. The council often invites the public to open events where they can provide feedback on a particular design, however, attendances are usually low as you have to be at a specific place at a specific time.

I decided to try and tackle this issue by applying some of my 3D and camera tracking skills to demonstrate how this issue of low participation could be solved. This is still a work in progress but hopefully the video below gives you an idea...

Here's the video explainer. I took some footage of the area before doing some camera tracking and 3D modeling to make the signpost and sample design for the site.
